Focus and Scope

Majalah Kesehatan is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal officially published by the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya. The journal publishes original research articles, literature reviews, and case reports in the fields of medicine and health sciences, encompassing both basic science and clinical medicine.

Peer Review Process

The manuscript submitted to Majalah Kesehatan must be an original work, free from plagiarism, and must not have been previously published in any form, whether online or in print. Authors are not permitted to submit the same manuscript to other journals while it is under consideration by Majalah Kesehatan. A letter of declaration confirming the manuscript’s originality and exclusivity must be completed and submitted by the author.

All submitted manuscripts will undergo plagiarism screening using iThenticate software. A similarity index below 10% is required for further consideration. The editorial board will evaluate each submission to ensure alignment with the journal’s focus and scope. The board reserves the right to accept the manuscript with or without revisions, or to reject it outright.

Publication Frequency

Majalah Kesehatan is published quarterly (March, June, September, and December) in a year.

Open Access Policy

Majalah Kesehatan is an open access journal which free access to the full text of all published articles. Readers have right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of all articles in Majalah Kesehatan.
