DIABETES ONLINE COMMUNITY (DOC) DI INDONESIA: ANALISIS KONTEN MEDIA SOSIAL

Abstract

Strategi pencegahan dan intervensi untuk diabetes melitus telah dikembangkan dan dimanfaatkan di internet. Penyebaran pengguna internet berdampak pada pembentukan Diabetes Online Community (DOC) dan memberikan manfaat bagi pengguna. Studi tentang pengembangan DOC di Indonesia masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan informasi tentang perawatan diabetes di komunitas online di Indonesia. Facebook berbasis DOC dianalisis menggunakan analisis konten untuk mendapatkan makna aktivitas komunikasi di antara anggota. Sampel yang terpilih adalah 3 grup Facebook DOC yang menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia dan aktif hingga 31 Desember 2020. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengambil screenshot dan mendokumentasikannya dalam Microsoft Excel. Data dianalisis oleh lima coders untuk mengumpulkan makna dari tiga DOC. Hasil menunjukkan ada tiga kelompok DOC, yaitu FSD, BID, dan SD. Isi dari FSD, BID, dan SD terdiri dari konten tentang diet, pemantauan gula darah, pengobatan, dan komplikasi luka dan kaki yang tercantum pada n = 187,53,76; n = 258,62,64; n = 229,76,32; n = 71,43,29 secara berurutan. Anggota yang bergabung dengan DOC adalah pasien (81,22%), kerabat (10,70%), atau tidak satupun dari mereka (8,08%). Kesimpulannya ada tiga DOC di Indonesia yang masih aktif. DOC tersedia dalam Bahasa Indonesia dan secara aktif mendiskusikan konten tentang diet, pemantauan gula darah, pengobatan, dan komplikasi luka dan kaki. Tidak ada praktisi kesehatan yang mengambil peran dalam DOC, dan hanya pasien dan kerabat yang bergabung dengan grup. Selain itu, partisipasi praktisi kesehatan menjadi sangat penting untuk meningkatkan manfaat DOC di Indonesia
